Court Proceedings For Murder Suspects

An update concerning court proceedings on two Thunder Bay murder cases.

Court documents tell us 21-year-old Jaret Brandon Sainnawap, charged with first degree murder in the 2020 death of 14-year old Kayliegh Ivall, has had his second day in preliminary hearing, details not finalized yet.

A 14-year-old girl also charged with first degree murder, appears June 17th.

Kayliegh’s body was found in April in a wooded area near Arundel Street and Lyon Boulevard.

Meanwhile, two men charged with the 2019 shooting death of 40-year old Lee Chiodo have preliminary hearings set for October 18th.

The court says they are 47-year-old David Hui of Thunder Bay, and 27-year old Musab Saboon of Kitchener.

27-year-old Marshall Hardy-Fox is also charged.

Chiodo’s body was found on Mission Island on February 24th.
