The active case count continues to hover below 20, but there are more cases that could be one of the coronavirus variants.
Officials with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit report four potential variant cases Thursday along with five new cases of COVID-19.
Two of the new cases were obtained from someone else who had the virus while two other case causes are pending.
In Ontario 1,135 new cases were reported along with 19 deaths.
