Five People Arrested In Drug Raid

Thunder Bay police have prevented more cocaine and fentanyl from reaching city streets.

They say five people are charged with various drug related offences after a raid at a Tamarack Place home Tuesday at around 9pm.

Police add two are 17-years-old, another is 18, all from southern Ontario, along with two adults from Thunder Bay.

One person struggled briefly before being subdued by police.

The suspects remain in custody with future court dates, and there’s no word from police if a charge of breaking the Stay at Home order was laid.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
