The active case count in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit continues to decline.

Just one new case of coronavirus Wednesday with eight more cases resolved.

17 is the number of active cases.

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre has five of the eleven patients that are being treated for coronavirus in the Intensive Care Unit.

In Ontario 1,095 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, along with 23 deaths.
