UPDATE: Teleco Cup Will Return In September

The Teleco Cup has confirmed dates for the 2021 event.

Kam River Fighting Walleye President and Governor Derek Geddes, in an email Wednesday, noted that the goal is to expand the event to include not only the Thunder Bay North Stars but also a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League team and a Manitoba Junior Hockey League squad.

The tournament is scheduled to happen between September 10 and 12.

The inaugural event in November and December 2020 saw the North Stars won the eight game series with five victories.
