The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has recorded the 62nd death since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Health officials also report Tuesday that the active case count continues to drop with just 25 active cases.
One new case was obtained through travel outside of Northwestern Ontario.
The province reported 1,616 new cases Tuesday to go along with 17 deaths.
