Investigations by the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Cyber Crime Unit have lead to two separate child pornography charges.
Police first started looking into a local internet user, suspected of accessing files consistent with child porn.
Armed with a search warrant in late April, police found electronic devices with suspected material from a home on Simpson Street.
Dawn Wanda Proulx, 62, was charged on May 7, and is waiting for a future date in court.
In a separate case, Timothy Daniel Clason, 26, is charged with possession of child pornography.
Police used a search warrant on Vickers Street on May 5, where they say they found files with what appeared to be child porn.
Clason was arrested two days later, and is waiting for a future court appearance.
