Youth Program On The Agenda

The Youth Inclusion Program in Thunder Bay will be on the council agenda.

Project Manager Kaitlin Prezio explains what you can expect when she speaks Monday night.

“There are some new programs that are youth lead projects coming that we will be launching, so it is really just a full update to city council and the community on what the program is doing and how you can get involved,” Prezio told Acadia Broadcasting.

Prezio goes on to explain how the program has altered due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“We’ve adapted all out in-person programing to virtual platforms. We’ve utilized different social media as well as Zoom. We’ve really tried to make out programs and accessible and as barrier free as possible.”

The program offers support and events for youth aged 12 to 24 in the area.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
