The EarthCare Advisory Committee is hearing about a pair of initiatives that look to the future of Thunder Bay.
Committee Chair Andrew Foulds says the group heard Tuesday about a plan to reinvigorate the downtown core.
“I’m looking forward to walking downtown with my grandchildren at some point in time and being able to soak up the vibrancy which will enviably be there,” Foulds said.
The Chair is also excited about a Climate Change Charter: “Non-profits, for profits, other public sector entities could sign on to this charter so that there is this common achievable goal of reducing greenhouse gases.”
