Province Adds 3,700 Cases

Ontario is making some gradual progress with COVID-19.

The province is reporting 3,732 new cases, which is a decrease of around 200 cases from last weekend.

Its daily update also confirms that around 8.5% of tests are positive for the virus, which is up around one percent from last week and slightly lower than the week before that.

Ontario is opening up vaccinations to everyone over 18 in southern Ontario hot-spots, but has not extended that to the North.

The Northwestern Health Unit reported seven new cases today.
