Fog Could Make Travel Hazardous

If you’re heading out the door, keep in mind you could come across some thick fog.

Environment Canada tells us a fog advisory is in effect, mingled with the good chance of rain for the rest of the day.

Fog advisory in effect for:

  • City of Thunder Bay

Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.

Where: From Atikokan to Thunder Bay.

When: Now until early this afternoon.

Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.

Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
