Hajdu Supports Stay-At-Home Order

The stay at home order in Ontario is getting the support of Canada’s health minister

Patty Hajdu also supports the Thunder Bay district coming under that umbrella reminding us how fearful many of us were when we were the hotspot in Canada.

“It wasn’t so long ago that we were all very very scared and very very worried about the number of cases exceeding 100…and our hospital having to move people around to other parts of the province for care,” says Hajdu.

She adds “It just demonstrates how fragile things are and I think right now we really do need to buckle down and protect the health of our region.”

The health minister adds while we wait for more people to get vaccinated the safest thing is to try to stay at home

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
