Students in the public and Catholic school systems will be back in classes on April 19th.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has made the announcement after school boards issued the notices to parents earlier.
The students have been learning remotely since COVID-19 cases in the city started surging and teachers, students, and staff were starting to becoming infected with the virus.
There are currently no more outbreaks at schools in either system.
