Vaccinations Open To 70+

Those aged 70 and older can now book COVID-19 vaccine appointments with the District Health Unit.

The Health Unit says spots are now open for the weeks of April 6th, 12th, and 19th.

The rollout is also happening in the Northwestern Health Unit.

Health Unit officials say the next groups to be offered the vaccine include those aged 60-79, decreasing in five-year increments; those with certain health conditions; residents, essential caregivers, and staff of high-risk congregate living settings; and essential workers who cannot work from home.
