34 New Cases, One Death

The 52nd death of the coronavirus pandemic.

Officials also report 34 new cases of COVID-19 along with 16 cases that are deemed as resolved.

The active case count jumps to 216:

  • Fourteen people got the virus while at home from someone else
  • Thirteen others got it from outside the house
  • Four have no known exposure
  • Three are still waiting for results of how they got it

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre reports that seven of the 22 patients that they are treating for coronavirus are in the Intensive Care Unit.

In Ontario there are 2,333 new cases along with 15 deaths.
