Active Cases Drop To 216

The coronavirus has spread to 21 more people in the Thunder Bay District.

The local health unit is confirming 38 people are also considered resolved, bringing the district down to 216 active cases.

Out of the latest positive tests:

  • Two people got the virus from someone else in their household
  • Seven others were exposed outside the home
  • Ten have no known exposure
  • Two are still waiting for confirmation of how they got it

Province-wide, Ontario is reporting more than 2,000 cases for the fourth day in a row, confirming 2,448 new cases and 21 deaths.
