2 More Deaths, 58 New Cases In District

There are 58 new COVID-19 cases and two more deaths from the virus in the Thunder Bay District.

The Health Unit reports 458 active cases, and 35 people have passed away since the start of the pandemic.

Another 60 people are no longer testing positive, and seven people are no longer being treated at the Regional Hospital.

The Regional Hospital is treating 44 people for COVID-19, down from its all-time high earlier this week.

Out of those patients, the hospital reports 13 people are in the Intensive Care Unit.
