It’s another day with double-digit COVID-19 cases, as the District Health Unit announces 40 more infections.
There are currently 386 active cases in the district, and 43 more people are now considered resolved.
It initially reported one new death, but now says that was an error.
At the Regional Hospital, the Health Unit says another eight people are now being treated for COVID-19 symptoms. It lists 35 coronavirus patients in total, including 11 in intensive care.
Across the province, 990 cases were confirmed today.
