Tim Hortons Launches Digital Contest ‘Roll Up To Win’

An annual contest for coffee lovers, is going digital.

The tradition of Rolling Up the Rim of a Tim Hortons cup is being retired.

Instead, the contest will be offered digitally this year.

“It became clear to us in the months that followed that the ongoing pandemic was likely to impact Roll Up again this year. As we began evaluating the plan for this year’s contest and making it our most exciting game ever, we focused on two ideas,” said Chief Marketing Officer Hope Bagozzi.

But you will never be asked to Please Play again, instead every roll is a winner.

The contest will now be known as the Roll Up to Win.

Last year was the 35th year of the contest.

Tim Hortons says this is the largest prize pool ever including grand prizes, free coffees and donuts, and new this year, digital prizes like Tims Rewards points and subscriptions to popular streaming services. Details on prizing haven’t been released yet.

‘Roll up to Win’ runs from March 8th to April 4.
