Former Mayor Open To Beyak’s Seat

A former Thunder Bay mayor is open to replacing Dryden’s Lynn Beyak in Canada’s Senate.

Ken Boshcoff tells us he would be happy if he was approached for the seat, adding retirement is not for him. “Life is short. And I’m blessed with good health, except for my knees. When you have energy, and a bit of experience, you really want to contribute.”

The former mayor adds he thinks the Senate is looking for “people who aren’t going to screw up in the job”.

He recalls the days he spent in Washington DC. “In the Capitol Building on softwood lumber, and beef issues, and things of that nature. The Senators that Canada has really know their stuff.”

The Thunder Bay resident adds American Senators enjoy working with Canadian Senators.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
