Jump In Local COVID-19 Cases

The local health unit is reporting 21 new COVID-19 cases.

Here’s the breakdown:

  • Nine cases tied to the outbreak at the Thunder Bay District Jail
  • Seven cases obtained through close contact
  • Five case causes are pending

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit also says that eight cases have been resolved.

The new cases means the active count is up to 106 as compared to 93 on Wednesday.
