Manitouwadge Man Charged With Murder

A First Degree murder charge has been laid against a 38-year-old Manitouwadge man.

Provincial police say they were called Saturday to a home in the community due to a disturbance.

They found 18-year-old Wayne Allen, of Manitouwadge, suffering from life-threatening injuries, who was pronounced dead upon arrival at hospital.

Police say Jesse Allen, of Manitouwadge, was taken into custody at the scene, and charged.

He will stay in custody, with a court date on February 16th.

Authorities are asking for anyone with information on this case to contact them.
