MNRF Fine Hunter $5,000

A southern Ontario man is paying up $5,000 for firing down a road at a moose.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is releasing the details after the man from Windsor pleaded guilty earlier this month.

He was charged with carelessly using a firearm to hunt.

Conservation officers charged him back in October of 2019 while on patrol near the village of Caramat in the Greenstone area.
