Toronto Man Faces Drug Charges

Police apprehend a Toronto man alleged to have been involved in drug activity.

Officers stopped the 32 year old Thursday night on Simpson street and were able to pick up cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, cash and a weapon.

The charges against the suspect includes:

  • Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Carrying a Concealed Weapon
  • Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon in a Motor Vehicle
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Heroin for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Two counts of Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Two counts of Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

The Toronto man will be back in court at a later date.
