COVID-19 has been discovered at a northside school. St. Bernard School reports “individuals” at the school tested positive for the coronavirus.
Officials added “Parents, guardians and staff of this cohort have been contacted by members of Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board and were dismissed this afternoon and will be “contacted by a public health nurse shortly.”
The school says “The cohort will remain home and a thorough cleaning and disinfection process will be underway within the school.”
The report does not say how many people have tested positive or whether they are students or staff.
