The COVID-19 outbreak in an area Hogarth Riverview Manor has been declared over.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit and St. Joseph’s Care Group are announcing that there are no more active cases in the fourth floor Lilac and Iris residential areas.
One staff member had tested positive earlier this month.
The Health Unit says there were already measures in place to reduce the chances of the virus spreading within the home.
The long-term care home has already been through an outbreak in its Birch/Spruce Grove resident area.
