A positive COVID-19 case has been confirmed at Kingsway Park Public School.
Lakehead Public Schools says someone associated with the school tested positive, and there are two other possible exposures within the school.
However the Board and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit don’t consider this an outbreak because here is no evidence that the virus has spread in the school setting.
The two organizations are investigating any potential exposure.
Public health officials will directly contact anyone who needs to stay home as a result.
