Clover Leaf Canned Sardine Recall

If you are a fan of sardines, check your cupboard.

Health Canada has posted a recall from Clover Leaf Seafoods Corporation affecting 106 gram cans of boneless fillets.

This includes Garlic and Chive in oil, and Smoked Jalepeno in oil flavours.

There are concerns they could potentially contain a dangerous bacteria.

They may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum, which may not make the food look or smell spoiled but they can still make you sick.

The cans should be thrown out or returned to the store where it was purchased.
