Driver Loses License Over Stunt Driving

A 24-year-old Scarborough resident has been charged for speeding over 150kms an hour on Highway 11/17.

Thunder Bay OPP say it was just before 9am, Tuesday morning, when they saw the speeding vehicle east of Mackenzie Heights road, in the Municipality of Shuniah, in a 90kms an hour zone.

The Scarborough resident has been charged with stunt driving, and for having an open bottle of liquor.

The driver’s license has been suspended for seven days, and the vehicle impounded for same amount of time.

Another reminder from police this type of activity can lead to fines of up to $10,000 and six demerit points.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
