Nine New Cases Regionally, Active Count Drops

A slight drop in the number of active COVID-19 cases in the region.

Thunder Bay’s District health unit says it is now 60, there were 63 yesterday.

However, there are nine new cases Tuesday.

Four got the virus through close contact with another infected person, one from travelling outside northwestern Ontario, two others are waiting for the results, and another two are not known.

They are all from Thunder Bay and surrounding areas.

There are four people in hospital, one in Intensive Care.

12 have been resolved.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
