Health Care Worker Receives Second COVID-19 Vaccine

A first in the province of Ontario.

Health-care worker Anita Quidangen now has both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Quidangen, who received her second shot at Toronto’s University Health Network, hopes others will follow in her footsteps.

Premier Doug Ford, who was on hand to see Quidangen and four others get their second dose, acknowledged there have been a few bumps in the road in the province’s immunization campaign but notes the program is ramping up and there should be a significant difference in the next few weeks.
