Christmas Kettle Collection Rolls On

You can still help those in need past Christmas.

The Salvation Army reports the Christmas Kettle campaign has raised $211,063 to date towards the $220,000 goal.

“This has been a difficult year for everyone. We are so grateful for the support we have received at the Kettles – we recognize that especially this year, it is a sacrifice for many to give, both financially and of their time,” says Gary Ferguson, Executive Director of The Salvation Army Community & Residential Services. “We say thank you again, for helping us to continue our services in the community. Many people will benefit because of your selflessness.”

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
