More People Diagnosed With COVID-19

Nine more people have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Thunder Bay’s District Health unit tells us two are from Southbridge Roseview long-term care home. Another three got the virus from being around someone else with it. Three others got it while travelling outside the region, and one person is still waiting for those results of origin.

They are all from Thunder Bay and the surrounding area.

The current active case load is 95, however, the good news is that 20 people are classified as resolved, and there are no cases in the hospital, and no deaths.

In Ontario today, there are over 2,400 new cases, and just under 50 deaths.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
