Eleven New COVID Cases In The District

The number of new cases of COVID-19 is at 11 today.

However, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit says there are 99 active cases of the coronavirus in the region, down from 100 on Tuesday.

All the new cases are self-isolating and none are in hospital.

One of the people caught the virus through travel, eight through close contact with another person who has the virus but it is not known how the other two contracted it.

Currently three of the active cases are being treated in hospital, one of them is in the Intensive Care Unit.

Across Ontario today 1,723 new COVID cases were reported.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
