COVID-19 Diagnosed In More People

Another five new people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the Thunder Bay district.

The local health unit says all are self-isolating.

It adds three got the virus while being close to someone who has it, and one diagnoses of origin is pending.

As for the other case, the health unit says that is not known.

That brings the total active case load to 93, and to date, there have been 308 cases, and four deaths.

Across Ontario today, there are 1,746 new cases.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
