Christmas Break Will Stay At Two Weeks

The Christmas break for school students in Ontario will remain at two weeks.

Education Minister Stephen Lecce, in a statement, says after consulting with public health officials the measure is not necessary.

Lecce adds they’ll consider other options if required that ensures school remain open.

A total of 670 schools have reported at least one case of COVID-19 since classes resumed in September.

Only a handful of cases have impacted northwestern Ontario schools.
