Health Canada is looking into the sale of counterfeit hand sanitizer sold at Dollarama stores.
It was first located at a store in Thunder Bay.
It was sold as a version of Daily Shield Hand Sanitizer, but may contain methanol which is not permitted in hand sanitizer.
Health Canada says the liquid may not even be effective at killing bacteria or viruses and could pose serious health risks to users.
