DST Could Stay Permanent In Ontario

The day could be coming when those of us in Ontario will not have to change the clock back an hour anymore.

Reports are that a bill is tabled in Queens Park that would move the province permanently to Daylight Saving Time.

A Conservative back bencher (Jeremy Roberts of Ottawa West-Nepean) is the one that’s brought it forward, on the condition that it not take effect until Quebec and New York state past similar legislation.

Daylight Saving Time is set to end at 2 a.m. on November 1st.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
