There’s a drop in new COVID-19 cases across the province, but parts of the province are still seeing hundreds of new cases.
Ontario is reporting 566 new cases, including 196 new cases in Toronto, 123 in Peel and 81 in Ottawa. The Northwestern Health Unit also reports one new case in Kenora was confirmed on Saturday.
One more person has died from the virus, and the province declared three deaths from earlier in the year that weren’t reported at the time.
This is after cases reached over 700 on Friday.
