Most companies can only dream of using the Rolling Stones songs in their ads these days, but an iconic cereal brand actually had a jingle written AND performed for them by The Stones and it’s got some serious Snap, Crackle, and Pop!
A Rice Krispies commercial from the early-mid sixties is making the rounds. People think that guitarist Brian Jones wrote the ditty, and it features Mick Jagger singing lyrics like:
“Wake up in the morning there’s a snap around the place … Wake up in the morning there’s a crackle in your face … Wake up in the morning there’s a pop that really says Rice Krispies for you and you and you!”
