Hospice Northwest’s supporters will be hiking today to raise money for palliative care services.
The annual Hike for Hospice fundraiser is being held as a virtual event, so participants can walk wherever they’re most comfortable.
They can start their walk anytime between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
While the walk isn’t limited to Boulevard Lake like usual, organizers will be set up at the Adelaide Monarch Butterfly garden during that time to greet individual walkers.
They will provide hikers with colourful ribbons to tie on the Butterfly Remembrance Wall at the Adelaide Street garden.
Organizers are hoping to raise $50,000 through pledges and donations.
