We talk about kindness a lot on TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD. How about this story from Kansas City? A famous bar called “Kelly’s Westport Inn” – shared a very inspirational story. One of the bar’s bartender’s, Heath, was serving a lady. They struck up a conversation. This lady was having a tough time in her life. Heath – just listened and offered some advice. That’s what kindness and compassion are all about. AND, this woman ended up leaving a note on the back of her bill. It said, “your kindness saved my life tonight. Thank you”.
The bar’s owner, Kelly, shared the story on their bar’s social media pages and has received thousands of comments and support for this woman.
That powerful message showed that something as simple as being treated with compassion and warmth…….can make all the difference. Especially on someone’s darkest day!
