Federal Conservatives say they will listen to all Canadians.
Even though much of the party leadership is from Ontario or the east, Deputy Leader Candice Bergen indicates she has spoken to leader Erin O’Toole about the issue.
“One of the things he has asked me to focus on is western alienation and the fact that westerners know and Conservative know this is an issue and they will not be ignored,” said Bergen.
Bergen stresses they “Want Canadians from every part of the country to know that they important, that they are valuable, and that they are being listened to by the Conservatives.”
