The Ford government is enhancing its dental program for seniors.
Health Minister Christine Elliott explains it involves added support for those without private dental insurance.
“That is why our government is investing $25 million in 78 dental infrastructure projects across Ontario to ensure seniors will have better and faster access to the services they need no matter where they live,” notes Elliott.
The new projects include building new dental clinics and renovating existing facilities as well as adding eight new mobile dental clinics.
Elliott adds, “Once the Ontario Senior’s Dental Care program is fully operational it is going to help approximately 100,000 low-income seniors get the care they need.”
