Ontario is confirming the highest single-day jump in COVID-19 cases in over a month.
This morning, the province announced 148 people were diagnosed on Friday, the highest increase since July 24.
Another 100 cases have resolved since the last update, leaving the province with 1,148 active cases right now.
There were no new deaths reported.
