The Gardens Gets Funding For Upgrades

Federal government grants are coming to Thunder Bay.

Blacksheep Mountain Bike Club is getting $450,000 to construct and upgrade up to 40 kilometers of high grade, multi-use trails in the Trowbridge Forest trail system.

The City of Thunder Bay is receiving $300,000 for upgrades at Fort William Gardens.

Enhancements will include a new video scoreboard, ice deck covering, ice plant improvements, digital marquee screens, an editing suite, and electrical upgrades.

It comes just ahead of the city hosting the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in February.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
