Port Enjoys Strong Grain Shipments

It remains a good season for grain shipments at the Port of Thunder Bay.

The port says there’s more demand for wheat due to the pandemic, so their grain shipments are around 25% higher than this time last year.

July grain shipments were 100,000 metric tonnes higher than the same month last year.

The port also had higher than normal shipments of dry goods like road salt.
