If you find you’re running out of food or drink this holiday weekend, most stores are open.
This civic holiday Monday is mostly a day for offices to stay closed or work on limited hours.
If you want to do business with any government department, be it federal, provincial or city, you will have to wait until tomorrow. There is no mail delivery and city transit is operating on a holiday schedule.
As for shopping, major grocery and department stores are open, that includes Metro, Safeway, Superstore, Canadian Tire and Walmart. The Intercity Shopping Centre is also open. LCBO stores are closed, but select Beer Stores are open.
