Canadian Businesses Supported By Fund

Up to $5,000 in grants are soon to be available for Thunder Bay businesses fighting COVID-19.

The local Chamber of Commerce has partnered with a national movement of more than 50 companies, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, for Canada United.

It is to encourage the country to buy local.

You are invited to watch on-line videos at GoCanadaUnited.ca, and like posts on social media. Every time this happens, the Royal Bank of Canada will donate 5-cents, up to $2-million, until August 31st, for the new Canada United Small Business Relief Fund.

Businesses can apply for the money to recover expenses related to COVID-19.

You can see the videos by clicking here, as well as liking posts @GoCanadaUnited, and use #CanadaUnited to show support.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
