A southside assault has sent a 27-year-old woman to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police tell us the incident took place last night at an address on Finlayson Street between McKenzie and Simpson Streets.
The victim and the accused are both known to each other.
A 26-year-old woman is charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
She remains in custody following a court appearance today.
